I just want to say that I have been back and forth with the office regarding my father, and trying to get an order for an EGD, Carla has been extremely helpful, patient, and so kind. My father was seen as an inpatient earlier this week and needs a repeat test. Insurance is an HMO and it's just been crazy with everything I had to do to get this all figured out. It if it wasn't for Carla, this would not have been handled in a timely manner. I cant wait for my Dad to meet Dr. Maheshwari next week!! Dr.M is the first GI Dr to ever give me hope. I was born with malformed intestines. I'm 68 years old and suffered years...all other GI Specialists in Medical Center Houston and Woodlands gave me no hope. Only wanted to remove my colon. I have now lived pain free for 4 years after seeing Dr Mahaswari.
I wish I could give MORE than 5 stars. Dr. Maheshwari is very very professional and cares about your situation. I was very sick for 4 months, going to the ER constantly, before I was referred to Dr Maheshwari. He immediately showed care and concern and knew EXACTLY where to start. He is incredibly intelligent and was able to diagnose me properly after his procedure and tests. He explains everything very clearly and makes sure that you're aware and comfortable with treatment. After surgery and treatment I finally was feeling better. Without Dr Maheshwari and staff I wouldn't have been able to recover well enough to finish my semester at school. I would recommend him to anyone having GI issues that haven't been solved!!
